Media Ministry

Media Ministry

The Mission Statement of the CPH Media Ministry is: ” …to serve with excellence the creative and technical needs of the ministries of the church in order to better reach Northwest Arkansas, America, and the World for Jesus Christ.”

Whether it’s Sunday morning with a full camera crew taping the broadcast that goes worldwide on Daystar Networks, Thursday lunch at the Summit, or helping out at one of the many ministry events that happens at The Church at Pinnacle Hills, the Media Ministry is here to provide technical service of the utmost quality for the furtherance of the Gospel. And, we have fun doing it!

Media PhotoWith the opening of our new facility, we have fully High Definition recording capabilities that support the “Winners with Ronnie Floyd” broadcast on Daystar.

We are fully run by volunteers from the church body, so we need your help! Click on the links at the bottom to explore the different areas available to serve in. We meet the first Wednesday night of each month at 6:30 in the Worship Center for training and rehearsal.

“Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the end of the world.” Romans 10:18

Your creative technical talents are needed to enhance the ministries of The Church at Pinnacle Hills. Contact us for more information at 479-271-7799.

Audio

Media PhotoWe have need for Audio Engineers and Audio Techs for everything from Sunday morning to Summit Lunches. No experience is needed, but it is certainly welcome! We provide training for all of our consoles and equipment in our different areas:

  • Yamaha PM1D in the Worship Center
  • Yamaha PM5D in the Gatheria
  • Digidesign Venue in Broadcast Audio with ProTools
  • HD Digidesign ICON in the Recording Studio

Media PhotoThe Worship Center utilizes EAW KF730 line arrays for split-mono and stereo effect coverage. Shure wireless U4 series mics as well as an assortment of quality mics for the band provide reinforcement that’s very enjoyable to listen to. Josh Stanbery, Worship Pastor at CPH, uses a Sennheiser 3000 series microphone with a Neumann capsule while Pastor Ronnie Floyd also uses the 3000 series, but with a DPA 4065 headmic to allow himself freedom on the platform.

Media PhotoOur Broadcast Audio area uses a Digidesign Venue to record everything that happens to ProTools recording software and directly to the XDCam decks. The Optocore digital audio equipment allows audio to be routed anywhere in the building via a fiber loop, allowing us to record from the Worship Center or the Gatheria. It even enables us to do a full recording from the Worship Center to the Recording Studio in the Worship offices.

Video

Media PhotoOur High-Definition, state of the art video system is our means of getting the Gospel out to the world for everyone to experience. We use seven Ikegami HD cameras; two on tripods, two on pedestals, one on a jib, and two remote units to capture everything that happens in the worship services.

Media PhotoA Standard Definition Ross Synergy 2 switcher provides content to the two Barco 6mm LED walls above the stage. A HD Ross Synergy 1 switcher provides content for broadcast to a Sony XDCam deck. In addition, 5 other XDCam decks provide the ability to isolate and capture all five manned cameras.

There’s really too much to describe on this website, so just come in and check out the gear for yourself! SG Integration provided design and install for our project.

Lighting

Media PhotoThe lighting system at Pinnacle Hills is a state of the art system designed by Brawner and Associates out of Springfield, MO. Between the Grand MA console and the custom remote controlled lighting trusses, this is a unique system designed to give us flexibility and control over our very lighting-difficult room.

We utilize 20 Mac 2000 Wash units, and 22 Mac 2000 Profile units in conjunction with hundreds of conventional lights and scrollers to illuminate the stage for video broadcast. Color Kinetics LED fixtures on the mullions of the 6,000 square foot window and the LED Wall surrounds also provide some interesting color and effects use in the room.

Media PhotoEventually, the glass panes in the window will be replaced with electrochromic materials that can be dimmed at will with the lighting console.
